PC gamers have two more games to claim this week from the Epic Games store, with Havendock and Hyper Echelon landing as the latest freebies.
There is another new giveaway happening on the Epic Games Store, as the weekly refresh has just gone live. Replacing last week’s Electrician Simulator offer, two titles have now landed for all PC gamers, with them being Havendock and Hyper Echelon. The two games are yours to add permanently to your Epic Games Store library within the next seven days.
Looking at Havendock first, this is a colony sim developed by YYZ Studio, and it was released only last year. Described as a cozy experience, the title has you attempting to build a new town in the middle of the ocean, getting castaways and new settlers. This involves collecting resources from floating debris, building farms and facilities, managing town tasks, and inventing new technologies to thrive.
“Welcome new survivors – manage tasks and production to keep everyone happy and healthy,” adds the developer, describing the NPC systems. “More settlers means more needs to be met, but don’t worry. You’ll teach your new pals how to work, and they’ll help you automate the tasks you like less.”
Meanwhile, Hyper Echelon is a 2021-released sci-fi shoot-’em-up experience from GangoGames. Inspired by arcade classics, the title has you flying through a campaign with 10 worlds while destroying units, finding collectibles, and completing unique objectives across missions. There’s a wingman system, special abilities, upgrades, difficulty tiers, and more features present here too.
“The Royal Space Force needs you! A malicious alien force known as EXODON has brought chaos upon the Cyan Galaxy,” adds the studio about the storyline. “Outnumbered and outgunned, the Royal fleet doesn’t stand a chance in a head on shoot out with the invading armadas. Tactical precision is the only chance of success.”
The Havendock and Hyper Echelon giveaways are now live on the Epic Games Store. PC gamers can add the duo to their library for no cost during the seven-day timeframe before the next freebie arrives on April 2, which has been revealed to be Clone Drone in the Danger Zone.
