PC gamers can now find out how their machines will handle Death Stranding 2: On the Beach when it launches next month.

Kojima Productions and Sony announced the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach earlier this month at the year’s first State of Play. With only a few weeks left to go before the title lands on the new platform and sheds PlayStation exclusivity, the title has now received its official system requirements, letting PC players prepare their machines for the release.

Sony’s in-house porting specialist studio, Nixxes Software, is the team in charge of bringing the well-received action-adventure game over to PC. The newly released specifications ask for 16 GB of RAM across all performance targets. The studio says the title will be playable at 1080p 60FPS with an RTX 3060 or an RX 6600 using Medium settings.

Here are the complete requirements:

As previously announced, ultrawide support will be present, going up to 32:9 (21:9 for cutscenes). Outside of keyboard and mouse controls, support for the DualSense controller with haptic feedback has been confirmed too.

Nixxes also revealed today that Nvidia DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XESS 2 won’t be the only upscaling tech available in Death Stranding 2. The ‘Progressive Image Compositor’ (or PICO for short) upscaler will also be an option, coming straight from the engine maker Guerrilla Games. This is the same tech that upscales the title on the PlayStation 5 consoles.

“Pico upscaling can be used with all supported graphics cards and can be combined with the various options for frame generation offered in the game,” adds the studio.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach pre-orders are live across Steam and the Epic Games Store with a $69.99 price tag. The game is releasing on PC on March 19, 2026.
