The new feature in “On-device GenAI” in Settings > System, gives users control over Chrome’s AI capabilities, including the ability to disable security features that Google says detect 20 times more scams than previous methods.

“Google has now added a new toggle that lets you delete the GenAI models (which power this feature) from your device,” @Leopeva64 explained. “Turning it off also disables the feature itself.”
